General
Yes. All core practice tests — Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking — are completely free with no account required. Creating a free account lets you save results and track progress over time.
No account is needed for free tests. However, registering (free) lets you save your test results, track your band score over time, and request expert reviews for your writing.
Academic is required for university admission and professional registration (medicine, nursing, etc.). General Training is for immigration (UK, Australia, Canada) and secondary education. Check your institution or visa authority for the specific requirement.
Yes. We offer TOEFL iBT practice tests for all four sections with the updated 2023 format, including the new Academic Discussion Task 2 and shortened timing.
AI Scoring & Writing
Our AI uses GPT-4o-mini with a system prompt developed by certified IELTS examiners. It evaluates all four official criteria and typically scores within 0.5 bands of a human examiner. It is designed for learning and feedback, not as a guarantee of official exam performance. For greater accuracy, you can also request a certified expert human review after receiving your AI score.
After receiving your AI score on a writing test, you can request a review from a certified IELTS examiner. The expert reads your essays, scores each criterion, and provides detailed personalised feedback. Results are typically returned within 24–48 hours.
Yes. You can submit just Task 1 or just Task 2 if you want feedback on a specific part. Your overall band score will be calculated from whichever tasks you submit.
