Part 1 Common Questions
The examiner may ask any of these in a real exam. Aim for 20–30 seconds per answer — give a direct response and add one specific example or reason.
- Do you enjoy travelling?
- Where is the most interesting place you have visited?
- Do you prefer travelling alone or with others?
- What kind of transport do you prefer for long journeys?
- How often do you travel abroad?
- What do you like most about visiting new places?
Part 1 tip: Don't give one-word answers. Use the question word to structure
your reply — if asked "Do you enjoy…?", answer "Yes, I do, because…" and add a brief example.
Aim for 2–3 sentences.
